About the CASSEL Centre
The CASSEL Centre was set up as an independent charity by the London Borough of Lewisham. We are committed to offering a service to people in the community who are unlikely to be able to pay for access to preventative, professional services.
Our core staff team are all trained, qualified and experienced counsellors, psychotherapists or social workers and our associates supplement this expertise. We provide a professional service at low cost to adults, young people and children who are residents of Lewisham with no stigma attached. We offer time for people to talk about practical and emotional difficulties in times of personal or family vulnerability.
As a charity our aim is to prevent abuse, injustice and cruelty and to promote the health and well-being of individuals and the community. We are constantly seeking additional funding to help us introduce new services in response to changing community needs.
Convenient Location
We are easy to reach, since our building is on the South Circular Road with its many bus services. We are also close to Forest Hill railway station with frequent trains from other parts of London and from areas to the South.
