The Services we offer:
Counselling and Psychotherapy We provide both short- and long-term counselling and psychotherapy services for adults, children and young people. Clients are usually seen once a week at a regular time that is convenient for them. Our staff and associates are experienced and qualified. Our counselling and psychotherapy pages give more details.
Group Therapy Working as part of a group of people who all share similar problems can be a very effective form of therapy. We provide Group-psychotherapy and Drama-therapy whenever suitable groups can be assembled. Look at the section on psychotherapy for more details.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) The government is placing increasing emphasis on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. We provide both CBT and Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT). Look at our CBT page for more details.
Social work Services provided by the social workers based at the CASSEL Centre include:
Advocacy and liaison Finding appropriate resources
Applying for grants Practical help and advice.

Referrals Doctors, hospitals and other care-service staff often refer people to us.
We evaluate each referral and suggest which of our services is appropriate, subject to the availability of staff and accomodation. In some cases we may direct people to alternative resources.
