Referring clients to the CASSEL Centre

The CASSEL Centre has more than 40 staff and associates who provide counselling, psychotherapy, CBT and other services to adults children and young people who live or work in Lewisham. The links to the left give more details.

FEES: We provide both free and fee-paying services. Unless people are on basic benefits it is unlikely that they will be offered free services. Fees are based on a sliding scale which rises by £1.50 per session for every £1,000 of annual income. The length of the service offered depends on the client, the worker and the problem. Clients may be offered a small number of sessions, up to one year, or an open-ended, long-term arrangement may be agreed.

REFERRAL PROCESS: If you decide to refer the patient/client you will need to complete our referrals form, or provide the equivalent information in a letter or assessment report. Referral forms can be downloaded below.We also prefer to hear from the client personally. Please ask your client to telephone our referrals team - contact details for clients are shown on the "contact us" page of this website.
