Services for Trainee Therapists

The CASSEL is a well-established training centre, providing an extensive range of training courses and work placements for counsellors and social workers. We provide expert supervision to trainee counsellors. Our counsulting rooms and group therapy rooms are available on a "contribution to costs" basis for trainees who are meeting clients on a regular basis .

We also run an ongoing program of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) for counsellors in training. These sessions are opened up to all our associates and to the trainee psychotherapists that use the centre to bring a wider range of experience into the discussions.

For trainee psychotherapists

The CASSEL centre does not train psychotherapists but it provides facilities that help many of them to establish a regular pattern of meetings with training-patients who find the location convenient.

• We have consulting rooms available for long-term hire, some of which are equipped with couches.
• The centre is open from 8 in the morning and until 9 in the evenings.
• It has good bus and train connections for clients coming in before or after their work.
  
• We encourage you to schedule regular sessions with your clients, in the same room and at the same times every week.

Trainee psychotherapists are also encouraged to join our CPD program and to take advantage of the networking opportunities in a busy centre.
