Volunteering at the CASSEL Centre
We employ a small number of full or part time salaried core staff members, but over 40 people carry out counselling and psychotherapy for Lewisham residents from our offices and we need to keep our busy workplace organised and in good order to provide the quality of services we aim for.
Our staff team needs to focus mainly on client issues, and so we are always interested in hearing from people who might be able to offer back up and support. Those who may be able to volunteer regular time and their expertise can support help our staff team to create the best environment we can for our clients and for our workers. This could include:
- housekeeping - help our team to keep our administration office, counselling rooms and waiting room tidy and in good order.
- office administration work - keep our filing systems neat and tidy, or help us to electronically archive our client files, so that we have more space to work in - or perhaps make sure we always have the office supplies that we need.
- repairs around our three storey building - those little non-urgent things that really need repairing, decorating - but often don't quite get to the top of the 'must do' list.
- gardening - our front garden needs continual tidying to keep up a good professional impression.
If you think you might be able to help by offering a few hours per week, please phone and ask to speak with any staff member.
